Customization Using Shared Resources¶
The Tool enables users to define a collection of shared resources, including View Groups and Presentation Styles. These shared resources are typically defined to personalize a loaded model. But they can also be applied to any loaded models by default.
For example, each loaded model must be associated with at least one Presentation Style, even the modeled is not specified as a data source. The standard server configuration defines a DefaultStyle, which is applied to any of the loaded by default. These default settings, however, can be overloaded by the Presentation Style applied to a specific data source.
Similarly users can designate one or more groups of custom tabular displays as default view groups at the root element of the model configuration. The default view groups will be attached to any of the loaded models.
