Setup and Initialization¶
Model management is a relatively sophisticated feature of the Tool. It requires users to set up the environment before it can be used. The setup process includes
- Installing and setting up database for model storage
- Defining Modelspace in the configuration file
- Initialization of a Modelspace with a full CIM/XML file
By following the instructions in this chapter, most of users shall be able to setup the environment without having to get IT specialists involved. There is also a tutorial that walks you through the whole process.
