MQL Applications¶
As a user-centric feature, MQL provides users an ability to build various custom applications, including
- Building custom report– users can generate custom tabular display based on MQL s for reporting, model conversion, and data mining, etc.
- Searching for the information of interest – users can create ad hoc query to find the information of interest, for example, finding all of the Equipments contained in a Substation.
- Filtering the tabular displays – users can filter the grid (or tabular) displays to show the objects that meet the specified filtering criteria, such as ACLineSegments that are 110 kV above.
- Sharing custom search and filtering – users can create custom searching and filtered displays using MQL and plug-in the custom displays into the tool.
- Creating custom validation rules – users can construct custom validation rules using MQL, for example, issuing a warning if X/R ratio of the ACLineSegment is too high.
